ARRRGH. Nothing fits...in 4 suitcases that is. I am so frustrated that I have purged since the summer and STILL can't fit my life belongings in 1 suitcase (Kyle gets 2 as he is working, Kids have 1, I have 1). Seriously - makeup, vitamins...what is a girl to do.

ok - back to the epic struggle...

Merry Christmas to all!! Wishing you and your families a rest and laugh filled holiday season. We are enjoying a visit from Uncle Mike from Calgary and had a nice relaxing Christmas. Unfortunately we are off to CHEO with Grayson to get some antibiotics for a suspected ear infection - could be worse I guess (Christmas day). Will post one more time before we head! 

Thanks for checking out our blog! It was a tough to leave one that I have been using since pregnant with Adelyn (www.xanga.com/kklunman), but it is time to modernize! I will be using this blog to keep you all posted on any interesting happenings down under.

First, a little background. We have been chatting about moving to New Zealand since a visit there in 2006 - though weren't exactly sure when or what it would look like. After a trip back to BC in 2009 we were struck at how we missed mountains, hiking, natural beauty, etc... but weren't ready to return just yet (after 2.5 years in Ottawa). Now for anyone that knows me, adventure chats aren't just that - plans must be hatched, actions must be taken.
Sold the house, check. Sold ALL of our furniture and belongings, check. Resigned from work (Kyle), check. Booked flights, check. Residency permits, check. Ummmm...work? home? car? TBD friends. Kyle has some meetings lined up for when we arrive and I am working on the rental situation. We are trusting that all will fall into place. Armed with 4 suitcases a stroller and 2 carseats - we are almost set to go! I will upload pictures as often as I can - thanks for joining us on our adventure!
