  • We can officially move on with our lives now - if you hadn't already heard, the All Blacks won! It could really have gone either way and they dug deep to pull it out (was an incredibly stressful game!). New Zealand is breathing a collective sigh of relief and in celebration mode. Here are few shots of the Wellington ticker tape parade that gman and I attended this morning!!

    Wish I had a camera this small….

Dan Carter - and all the girls scream….

    Yehaww!

For anyone who would like to see the amazing Haka before the Final!!

  • I am trying to distract myself from the nerve wracking NZ vs Oz semi-final…eeeeck. Uploading some images to regulate my blood pressure. UPDATE - NZ WON!! waaaaah! Finals with France next weekend - All Blacks haven't won the RWC since 1987 so this is their year. I know it must seem strange coming from a couple of Canadians to be so keen - but it is hard not to love this sport, NZ national heroes, the vibe... and all on home turf! :)

The grass really is greener here - literally speaking of course. Shots from a very relaxing weekend at Cape Palliser - gorgeous.

    Just liked the complimenting colors...

Dad's new toy and sport - surf casting

Escaped convict - looking very dangerous…well edible anyway

  • Here are some pictures of the Canadian 'Pavillion' at the Rugby World Cup - what beats table hockey, donuts, Canadian activities, and strangely dressed men? We don't have to mention the score in the Canada vs All Blacks game but can I just say that we were able to exit the RWC with our heads held high as tenacious (and well bearded) opponents.

Great Nana is 90! Amazing. Shot of our Matriarch below :)
