  • We are enjoying having Nana and Papa in New Zealand again - a quick visit from Malaysia. Kyle and I  even managed to escape on a cheap flight for two nights to Queenstown (think New Zealand's Banff)! I can't brag about the weather however…9C in the summer? Come on New Zealand!! All in all however; a nice mini getaway :)

50 km return trip…why are there so many darn mountains in NZ?

  • Yahoo - back from a fantastic holiday in the South Island. We had good-to-great weather the entire time (miraculous for NZ) and we so enjoyed our time together. I feel embarrassed that I have taken so many landscape shots, but when faced with scene after scene... If it appears as though we were the only people on the South Island at the time…well, we were…pretty much. The towns we stayed in ranged in likeness from Prince George to Revelstoke to Sooke. Each unique and all serving great coffee (critical when camping/moteling with kids).

Kyle's day out on a boat netted 2 crayfish and 12 fish. Was I tired of fish by day 7?
