Well, Vancouver was a bust (literally), so we hit the road to explore this lovely country. New Zealand's jaw dropping beauty was at its finest this weekend with dark stormy skies and mountainous green pastures - I could only ask Kyle to stop the car so many times so was only able to capture a tiny glimpse of the Hawkes Bay countryside. Known as the red wine region of New Zealand, Hawkes Bay is home to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North - each with yummy wines…and oh yeah, other kid attractions. Napier was destroyed in an earthquake in 1931 so the rebuilding was centred around the art deco craze of the time, check it out...

Hey, there is my home town! Napier is a great city. Beautiful place, makes me homesick. We are the couple that you met a Sunnyside wanting to move back to NZ, but it hasn't happened yet. May move to Vancouver so I'm curious as to your comments about Vancouver?
So glad everything has worked out for you so far.
